What we do
Andean Impact Venture is an emerging investment platform connecting capital with productive opportunities across Latin America — combining cross-border financial expertise, local origination, disciplined investment structuring, and measurable development impact.
Our initial focus is Peru. Our first vehicle, Fund I — Agribusiness Impact Fund, provides structured private credit to established Peruvian agro-exporters and their supply chains through pre-shipment trade finance, post-shipment trade finance, and supply chain finance.
Our long-term ambition includes specialized investment vehicles across relevant sectors and Latin American markets. These are presented as future opportunities, not existing operations.
What makes us different
Cross-border expertise
Financial rigor and governance standards shaped in North American markets, applied to Latin American opportunities.
Local origination
Origination, underwriting, and monitoring conducted on the ground in the target markets.
Disciplined structuring
Responsible credit underwriting and transaction-level risk controls, deployed against identified gaps.
Measurable impact
An impact measurement approach connecting investment discipline with verifiable real-economy outcomes.
Our leadership
Andean Impact Venture is built by a founding team that combines institutional financial discipline — shaped in North American banking and capital markets — with on-the-ground expertise in Peru and Latin American agribusiness. The team operates across Canada and Peru, in English and Spanish.
The platform is led by founder Piero Ramos. We are actively expanding an advisory board with sector specialists across agribusiness, trade finance, and development finance.
